AC Hotel by Marriott Spartanburg

Stayed here for 9 nights and had a great stay! Rooms were comfortable for an extended stay, it was very clean and modern which made it nice for the week! They have smart tvs for streaming that you can log into, and a spacious living area. The bathroom was very nice although I do prefer rooms that have a soaking tub which isn’t available here. There was a fridge and coffee maker in the room which was convenient, the only bummer was no microwave. I had a corner room on the 7th floor which was nice and quiet! You can hear the occasional train but nothing too disruptive to my standards! They have a nice area in the lobby where you can purchase snacks and I did enjoy the breakfast buffet one morning! They do offer complementary coffee in the mornings as well in the breakfast area and that was nice since it was a bit stronger than the room coffee. There were two delightful women that worked the breakfast area while I was there that I had a few great chats with! The other staff I interacted with was helpful and kind as well! I would definitely stay here again and also recommend to others looking for a convenient place to stay downtown! Tons of great shops and stores to walk in right around the area!

The hotel and our room were beautiful, and front desk service was great. I took off one star because the noise levels were really high. The hotel is right next to a railroad track, and the train whistle was very loud, along with cars passing by all night. If you’re sensitive to noise, you might want to skip this hotel or ask for a room on the side away from the train tracks.

This was a wonderful place to stay. The room was gorgeous and expertly clean. The staff are kind and friendly. We had trouble opening a bottle of wine and went down to the front desk where we were greated by Robert H. He stepped up and not only opened it for us, but he gave us clean glasses to go with it. He went above and beyond to make our experience wonderful. I want to say thank you again Robert. We really appreciate you and the kindness you showed us.

We were greeted by Robert at check in, the reservation was slightly messed up and he calmly fixed it quickly and set me and my parents up with two fantastic rooms. The bar was lively, lots of friendly people. We chose to eat at cribs across the street and had a delicious meal. All in all, this hotel made our night in Spartanburg a delight!

We held our annual convention here and were absolutely pleased by the staff and the accommodations. Madeline helped us with all the details for the convention and she was a gem; professional, patient, and extremely helpful. The food and food service was amazing for the event. The rooms are great. Justin has to work on our air unit and was also very friendly & professional. We will definitely host more events here.
